BL 450 Synoptic Gospels

This course examines the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Special attention is given to the many parallel passages and the passages that are distinctive to each book. The course will also examine and present answers for what has come to be called the “synoptic problem.”

BL 510 Women in the Word

This course will examine the lives of more than 100 women in the Bible. Women will be presented in categories based on Biblical historic time periods. Our emphasis will be to examine life lessons for today from the study of these Biblical characters. Note: This course is for both men and women.

LA 101 Language Basics

This course reviews basic English grammar and writing skills. This course also presents a model for writing research papers, and provides practice in developing writing skills.

LA 411 Beginning Greek I

This course introduces the student to the study of the essentials of the grammar, syntax, and vocabulary of the New Testament. This is part one of a three part course. Students will be translating portions of Scripture by the third quarter of study.
