BL 101 OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY

This class will survey each book of the Old Testament, giving an outline of the book, reviewing the main stories, and presenting the basic truths. This course provides an excellent basis for further intensive study in the Old Testament.

BL 520 SPIRITUAL WARFARE

This course will examine what Scripture teaches on the subject of spiritual warfare. This balanced approach will emphasize the importance of Spirit controlled thinking and attitudes. The course will examine the provision that Christ has made for the Christians’ victory.

BL 530 OLD TESTAMENT ANALYSIS

This class will survey each book of the Old Testament. Students will develop a synopsis for each Old Testament book, summarizing the content and theological message of each of the Old Testament books.

LA 411 BEGINNING GREEK II

This course introduces the student to the study of the essentials of the grammar, syntax, and vocabulary of the New Testament. This is part two of a three part course. Students will be translating portions of Scripture by the third quarter of study.

MI 510 MUSIC WORKSHOP: BEGINNING KEYBOARD FOR WORSHIP II
Instructor: Shari Carlson
This course continues an introduction to basic keyboard or piano, especially for the purpose of learning how to accompany worship in a church or Bible study setting. An emphasis will be on playing chords and learning to read both lead sheets and chord sheets.

This course will examine a variety of counseling issues from a Biblical and Christian perspective. The class will also feature respected Christian counselors via video who will share from their expertise in relating counseling issues to adolescents and teens. Class discussions will follow each video presentation.

MI 545 MISSIONARIES: LIVES & LESSONS

This course will examine the life stories of a number of missionaries who have been used to advance the Gospel in various places around the world. The students will gain a missions perspective as they consider life lessons from these faithful servants of the Lord.

BL 450 SYNOPTIC GOSPELS
Instructor: Daniel Fick
This course examines the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Special attention is given to the many parallel passages and the passages that are distinctive to each book. The course will also examine and present answers for what has come to be called the “synoptic problem.”
